The second step was to start the exercises, since I was more than half way to achieving my goal, this was more fun than I thought. I started off slow and increased as my fitness levels got better. I now exercise three days a week  using mainly the exercises in Mike's book, I also do a little strength training like pull ups and tricep extensions just to boost my muscular strength. Eat 80% fat, (butter , lard, olive oil, coconut fat), and 20% protein, (meat, fish, eggs), for 30 days, then see how you are going, Eat until you are full, it is very hard to over eat, because it is so filling and satisfying. Eat 2 or 3 times each day. Have coffee with full fat cream. Keep your carbs to as close to zero as possible. Remember eggs, cheese, and cream have some carbs, so be carefull there. Use artificial, sweeteners for coffee, if needed, not too many though. You will lose weight, Do not starve yourself, hunger is anti weight loss.

My weight loss doesn’t seem to follow a fixed pattern , sometimes I don’t lose the slightest of a pound in a week and then the next week I will lose 1 pound making it pounds in a week as an average. I think I’ve committed 1 mistake and that was that I didn’t recalculate and reduce my daily intake according to my weight loss in these 10 weeks. Would that have caused a hindrance in my progress ?
But Yes I see that all your replies have made sense to me , I’ve read a few more articles and come to the conclusion that I will have to keep going to get rid of my belly fat without worrying too much about the duration of cutting. Also , I had used a 25% of deficit in my diet so I think I will be using reverse dieting soon to get things back on track.

Hi Adrian, I've been trying to lose my last 10 lbs which is all in my belly. I started taking a fat burner , up my proteins big time because I fear losing my curves and butt while trying to lose belly fat in the process. I do cardio and weight training 3-5 days a week, yet I'm still not losing belly fat after 4 weeks. My weight stays the same. I don't bother keeping a food log and therefore doesn't know how many calories I'm eating although I eat very healthy. I'm afraid of eating too little so as to not lose my curves and butt. Should I still keep a food log and count calories? Is that going to help me with losing my belly fat even though I'm afraid of losing my curves?
