Types of testosterone

Testosterone is significantly correlated with aggression and competitive behaviour and is directly facilitated by the latter. There are two theories on the role of testosterone in aggression and competition. [78] The first one is the challenge hypothesis which states that testosterone would increase during puberty thus facilitating reproductive and competitive behaviour which would include aggression. [78] Thus it is the challenge of competition among males of the species that facilitates aggression and violence. [78] Studies conducted have found direct correlation between testosterone and dominance especially among the most violent criminals in prison who had the highest testosterone levels. [78] The same research also found fathers (those outside competitive environments) had the lowest testosterone levels compared to other males. [78]

Bone Density: An important factor to consider
In general, the maintenance of healthy bone density in all people is partly dependent on both estrogen and testosterone levels. When an individual's body produces estrogen as its main sex hormone (as in the case of female-bodied people), that estrogen in healthy levels protects against bone loss. If a female-bodied person were to begin testosterone therapy, there would be a time of transition in the body while hormone levels adjust. While testosterone would soon become a more dominant presence in the body of a trans man, he would still retain some estrogen in his system, both through the presence of his ovaries (if he has not had an oophorectomy) and/or via the natural aromatization of testosterone into estrogen (which takes place whether or not the ovaries are still present and functional).

Anabolic steroids, on the other hand, are the types of steroids most often associated with athletes and bodybuilders. Nonetheless, there are many medical uses for anabolic steroids. Doctors may prescribe testosterone or other compounds to treat conditions like low testosterone in men (Low-T) or to help people who have AIDS, cancer, and other health conditions retain (or gain) the muscle mass needed for good health. Anabolic steroids are derivatives of testosterone, and when they bind to testosterone receptors in the body, they facilitate muscle growth, energy, strength, and stamina.

Enanthate : This is metabolized in roughly 4-5 days. It can even remain in the body (in very small amounts) for 2 weeks. 100mg of Testosterone Enanthate yields ~73mg of actual testosterone, the rest is ester weight. Injections can be administered every 5 days. As we all know everyone is unique in their response to drugs but from what I have seen in my experience the approximate starting doses which may bring a patient within optimal ranges (650ng-1100ng) is 100mg-200mg IM every 5-7 days. Of course many factors come into play including the patient's baseline levels and biology.
